Steve
Daisey, MPT, CSCS is the owner of Daisey Physical Therapy
and The Center for Human Performance.
Steve
finished his graduate degree from the University of
MD at Baltimore School of Medicine in 1996 and has been
working in orthopedics and home health care since graduation.
Steve has completed specialized training in spinal and
extremity joint manipulation from the St. Augustine
University Manual Therapy Certification Program through
the Paris Institute, as well as extensive training in
osteopathic manual medicine.
Steve
has also developed programs for sports performance enhancement
and injury prevention and worked with many local athletes
in the Washington D.C./Baltimore area. He has lectured
throughout the northeast with his Explosive Movement
concepts on sports conditioning.
Steve
has been blessed to have local roots on Chincoteague,
VA which drew him back to the eastern shore. Steve is
the grandson of local waterman, Odell Daisey, and the
son of Robert Lee Daisey. His family has been present
on the eastern shore for more than 200 years.
